South Dakota State Parks Host Outdoor Activities

This Memorial Day, the Department of Game, Fish and Parks (GFP) is inviting people to enjoy all the parks have to offer over the holiday weekend.

- Wishard Memorial Disc Golf Tournament, Oahe Downstream Recreation Area, Fort Pierre. May 27, 9 a.m. CT. Info: 605-223-7722

- Fishing Derby, Oakwood Lakes State Park, Bruce. May 27, 9 a.m. CT. Info: 605-627-5441

- Memorial Day Bike Parade, Pelican Lake Recreation Area, Watertown. May 27, 3 p.m. CT. Info: 605-882-5200

- Just for Fun Pet Show, Chief White Crane Recreation Area, Yankton. May 27, 7 p.m.

All events are free with park entrance license except the Wishard Memorial disc golf tournament which has an entrance fee.
