The Sioux Empire Livestock Show is set to take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This annual event brings together livestock enthusiasts and community members for a day filled with engaging activities and competitions.
The event kicks off at 9:00 a.m. CT with the 4-H Skill-a-thon, held on the north side of the Expo Building. This educational activity is designed to test and enhance the skills of young participants.
At 10:00 a.m., the Junior Breeding Heifer Show begins in Ring A, showcasing the best in breeding livestock. Ring B will follow at 10:30 a.m. after the selection of the Champion AOB Heifer in Ring A. These shows provide a platform for junior exhibitors to demonstrate their livestock expertise and dedication.
The day concludes with the Collegiate Coaches Meeting at 6:00 p.m., also on the north side of the Expo Building. This meeting is an opportunity for collegiate-level coaches to connect and collaborate.
