In March 2021, Dream Design International, Inc. broke ground in Rapid City on a 100,000-square-foot multiagency office building that would consolidate 7 state agencies under one roof. Last week, the state celebrated the completion and grand opening of that facility.
"Creating One-Stops provides consolidated, collaborative, and efficient facilities that serve both clients' as well as staff's needs. Housing several agencies at a single location will make it much more convenient for citizens in the Rapid City area to receive services," said Bureau of Administration Commissioner Scott Bollinger. "With this facility complete, we are already working on a similar facility in Sioux Falls."
Agencies in the Rapid City area who are relocating to the One-Stop are the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Department of Health, the Department of Human Resources, the Department of Revenue, the Department of Social Services, the South Dakota Lottery Office, and the Bureau of Information and Telecommunications.
