SDSU Extension will host a beef quality assurance (BQA) training on January 30 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in Mound City at the MC 83 Bar (198 Mainstreet, Mound City, SD 57646).
Anyone involved in raising or handling cattle is encouraged to attend. The BQA program guides producers toward continuous improvement using science-based production practices that assure cattle well-being, beef quality and safety.
During the event, attendees can become BQA certified, and certification is valid for three years.
