SDSU Extension will host a beef quality assurance (BQA) training on February 8 from 8:00-10:00 a.m. during the Watertown Winter Farm Show in Classrooms B and C at the Codington County Extension Complex (1910 West Kemp Avenue, Watertown, SD 57201).
Anyone involved in raising or handling cattle is encouraged to attend. The BQA program guides producers toward continuous improvement using science-based production practices that assure cattle well-being, beef quality and safety.
During the event, attendees can become BQA certified, and certification is valid for three years.
