A new SowBridge webinar focuses on managing large pig litters and improving sow productivity. The program is part of a monthly online learning series that brings helpful and timely information to pig farmers across the country. It is designed to support producers who want to improve pig health, sow care, and overall farm results.
The webinar features swine industry experts from many regions. These speakers share proven methods that help farmers manage increasing litter sizes in modern pig farming. Larger litters can create new challenges, including feeding needs, piglet care, and sow health. The session explains simple and practical steps to handle these challenges.
The program is hosted online through Zoom. This format allows farmers to join from home or the farm, making learning easy and flexible. Each session is recorded, and links are shared with subscribers once they are ready. This helps farmers review the lessons at their own pace.
The SowBridge series covers important topics related to sow production. Each month, new speakers and subjects are introduced to keep information fresh and useful. The program supports better decision making and helps farmers use modern practices that improve results and animal care.
Registration for the entire series is $200. To register, click or tap the button below, or visit the SowBridge website. For more information, contact mmgrant@iastate.edu, Communications Specialist - Iowa Pork Industry Center.
The webinar supports farmers who want to improve piglet survival, sow comfort, and overall farm success. By offering clear lessons, trusted experts, and flexible access, SowBridge helps producers build stronger and more productive pig farms.
