The South Dakota Corn Utilization Council is honored to join hands as a 4-Star Partner with the South Dakota FFA Foundation. The pivotal partnership ensures financial backing to nurture FFA students, the budding leaders in South Dakota's vast agricultural sector.
The FFA jacket isn't just a piece of clothing but a tangible emblem of the wearer's achievements and dedication within the organization.
This season witnesses a momentous occasion as a record 450 FFA members from 84 distinct chapters receive their jackets. This age-old tradition, packed with pride and honor, is moved forward.
To earn their jackets, members engaged in the "Blue Jackets Bright Futures FFA Jacket Program". Instead of simply buying a jacket, they applied, responding to essay prompts about their journey and aspirations within FFA.
Various sponsors, through the SD FFA Foundation, have made this possible, embedding new members into the very weave of the FFA community. Their support echoes not just for the South Dakota FFA Association but also impacts other critical agricultural platforms, including South Dakota State University's agricultural education.
