Gardening enthusiasts and homeowners have a great opportunity to learn directly from horticulture experts this summer. The South Dakota State University (SDSU) Extension team is offering a weekly series designed to help gardeners make the most of their outdoor spaces.
Starting May 6 and continuing every Tuesday through August 26, participants can join live sessions at 7:00 p.m. CDT. These weekly webinars are presented by SDSU Extension horticulture specialists who will answer gardening and landscaping questions from people across the state.
The sessions are free of charge, making it easy for anyone interested in gardening to participate. However, to join the live webinars, participants must register in advance. The good news is that a single registration gives access to all weekly sessions, so there is no need to sign up every week.
During each session, experts will share local, research-based advice on a variety of topics. These include plant care, lawn maintenance, tree health, pest control, and other horticulture concerns. Whether you are facing problems with your garden plants, unsure about lawn care, or looking for tips on handling insect issues, the SDSU team is ready to help with practical solutions.
The live sessions also give participants the chance to ask questions directly and get reliable answers. This interactive format ensures that the advice given is both useful and relevant to the local environment.
Gardening is a rewarding activity, and having the right guidance can make it even better. Thanks to this initiative by SDSU Extension, gardeners of all experience levels can benefit from expert insights throughout the summer.
To take part in this free series, simply register on Zoom and get ready to improve your gardening skills. Don't miss out on this valuable opportunity to learn and grow with the help of horticulture professionals.
