Corn condition rated 5% very poor, 13% poor, 23% fair, 49% good, and 10% excellent. Corn silking was 89%, near 92% last year and 90% for the five-year average. Dough was 32%, behind 41% last year and 38% average. Dented was 1%, equal to last year, and near 2% average.
Soybean condition rated 2% very poor, 7% poor, 31% fair, 54% good, and 6% excellent. Soybeans blooming was 90%, near 91% last year and 89% average. Setting pods was 60%, near 64% last year and 63% average.
Winter wheat harvested was 92%, near 96% last year, but ahead of 86% average.
