The Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) Board of Economic Development approved multiple funding applications at its meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 14.
The following Local Infrastructure Improvement Program (LIPP) action was taken:
- The City of Britton was awarded a grant in the amount of $65,368.75 to be used for water and sewer infrastructure.
The following Reinvestment Payment Program (RPP) action was taken:
- Bluestem Family Farms, LLC of Mitchell was approved for $517,517 to be used for a swine facility expansion.
- Driftwood Dairy of Baltic was approved for $256,136 to be used for the expansion of their dairy barn.
- Kingston LLC of DeSmet was approved for$1,213,758 to be used for a new swine farm.
