Topsoil moisture supplies rated 46% very short, 41% short, 13% adequate, and 0% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 42% very short, 42% short, 16% adequate, and 0% surplus.
Corn harvested was 91%, ahead of 80% last year, and well ahead of 66% for the five-year average.
Winter wheat condition rated 9% very poor, 25% poor, 40% fair, 26% good, and 0% excellent. Winter wheat emerged was 75%, well behind 95% last year, and behind 92% average.
Sorghum harvested was 89%, near 91% last year, but ahead of 76% average.
Sunflowers harvested was 84%, ahead of 69% last year, and well ahead of 58% average.
Pasture and range conditions rated 36% very poor, 31% poor, 23% fair, 10% good, and 0% excellent.
