Field Crops Report:
Corn condition rated 3% very poor, 9% poor, 39% fair, 42% good, and 7% excellent. Corn silking was 1%, equal to the five-year average.
Soybean condition rated 4% very poor, 10% poor, 38% fair, 43% good, and 5% excellent. Soybeans blooming was 13%, near 9% last year, and equal to average.
Winter wheat condition rated 23% very poor, 23% poor, 28% fair, 25% good, and 1% excellent. Winter wheat headed was 98%, near 99% last year, and equal to average. Harvested was 1%.
Spring wheat condition rated 11% very poor, 22% poor, 41% fair, 23% good, and 3% excellent. Spring wheat headed was 89%, well ahead of 61% last year, and ahead of 71% average.
