23 Percent of S.D. Winter Wheat Good to Excellent



For the week ending Sunday, topsoil moisture supplies rated 5% very short, 33% short, 60% adequate, and 2% surplus, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 9% very short, 48% short, 42% adequate, and 1% surplus.

Winter wheat condition rated 3% very poor, 17% poor, 57% fair, 22% good, and 1% excellent.
