The Private Kitchen Pitch Contest is Back

Midwest Dairy, a farmer-focused organization, and The Hatchery Chicago®, a leading non-profit incubator, have teamed up once again to create an exciting opportunity for emerging food and beverage businesses. The Private Kitchen Pitch Contest Presented by Midwest Dairy aims to nurture successful startups on the West Side of Chicago by providing them access to state-of-the-art commercial kitchen space and comprehensive support services to fuel their growth.

Last year, the contest showcased five innovative companies, with Nikkita Randle's Twisted Eggroll emerging as the winner. Randle's business secured six months of rent-free private commercial kitchen space, an opportunity that proved to be a game-changer for her company.

The Private Kitchen Pitch Contest offers food startups up to one year of private kitchen space at The Hatchery Chicago®, allowing them to scale their businesses. Midwest Dairy and The Hatchery Chicago® provide mentorship, networking, and resources to drive innovation in the dairy and food industry.

Natalie Shmulik, The Hatchery's Chief Strategy & Incubation Officer, is proud to partner with Midwest Dairy for the contest. Midwest Dairy's commitment to innovation and diverse startup opportunities aligns with The Hatchery's mission. Sponsored kitchens remove financial barriers for entrepreneurs and provide new platforms for unique food concepts to thrive in the market.

To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, all applicant businesses must utilize 30% or more of cow's dairy milk in their ingredient base. This requirement reflects Midwest Dairy's dedication to supporting the dairy industry and promoting its growth through innovative startups.

The Private Kitchen Pitch Contest Presented by Midwest Dairy is a chance for food entrepreneurs to showcase their creative ideas, gain valuable exposure, and receive the support they need to bring their businesses to the next level. It's an opportunity that can help budding entrepreneurs overcome obstacles, connect with industry experts, and make a significant impact on the food and beverage landscape.

For prospective businesses and entrepreneurs, the application process is straightforward. They are encouraged to apply online to be considered for this exciting contest that could be the launching pad for their culinary dreams.
