South Dakota State University (SDSU) Extension invites gardening and landscaping lovers to join their special summer program filled with weekly insights and expert advice. This program started May 6 and will run through August 26. SDSU horticulture specialists will host free live sessions every Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. CDT.
These sessions are designed to answer the most common gardening and landscaping questions from across the state. Whether someone is curious about how to care for their lawn, deal with garden insects, plant trees, or grow healthy flowers, this program offers local, research-based solutions.
Each session is led by SDSU Extension horticulture experts who bring trusted advice and simple explanations to help people get the best out of their gardens and yards. It’s a chance for both new and experienced gardeners to ask questions and learn from professionals.
Topics covered each week include everything from proper watering and pruning to insect control and plant care. The sessions are open to everyone and focus on problems that people are currently facing in their own areas.
There is no fee to attend these sessions, but registration is required to receive the Zoom link and reminders. The good news is, participants only need to register once to be signed up for all sessions throughout the summer.
This program is a great way to connect with experts and learn helpful tips to make gardening easier and more enjoyable. With simple advice and timely updates, it’s perfect for anyone looking to improve their garden, lawn, or landscape this season.
