The Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) Board of Economic Development approved four applications at its monthly meeting.
The following action was taken:
 - Whirlwind Investments, LLC, was approved for a loan of $144,000 through the SD Works program. The funding will assist with the purchase of business assets in Chester.
 
 - B&B Hills, LLC, was approved for a loan of $128,000 through the SD Works program. The funding will assist the purchase of business assets in Rapid City.
 
 - Norway Pork OP, LLC in Turner County was approved for a grant of $751,241 through the Reinvestment Payment Program (RPP). The funding will assist with the construction of a sow facility.
 
 - Redstone Dairy (Riverview LLP) in Kingsbury County was approved for a grant of $4,400,000 through the Reinvestment Payment Program (RPP). The funding will assist with construction of a new dairy facility.
