South Dakota FFA Association membership is at record levels with more than 5,400 members.
State FFA President Ella Stiefvater from southeastern South Dakota attributes the growth to great FFA programs.
“I think it’s about ag teachers being able to help students find their niche and passion to thrive in the FFA.”
Six FFA chapters were added across the state in the last year: Custer, Langford, Lead-Deadwood, Leola, Sioux Falls CTE Academy and Tea Area.
