The South Dakota State Fair, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources, is inviting educators to showcase student creativity and talent.
Over 100 educators participated last year, submitting 5,800 projects ranging from art to computer graphics. The 2024 submissions are welcomed until April 12.
Peggy Besch, the State Fair Manager, emphasizes the importance of the education division, noting the joy and pride of students and families in seeing their work displayed.
The fair welcomes entries from all educational backgrounds, including public, private, and homeschools, ensuring no talent goes unseen.
For those needing assistance with submissions, contact the fair on 605.353.7340. Detailed guidelines and entry forms can be found on the State Fair's website, making participation easier than ever.
For further details contact the Fair office directly on 800-529-0900.
This initiative not only celebrates student achievement but also enriches the fair experience for all attendees, making it a highlight of the educational calendar in South Dakota.
