Black Hills State University will center the celebration of Swarm Days 2022 around the theme "King Sting & the Knights of the Yellow Jackets" Sept. 19-24.
Each year over Swarm Days, BHSU students, staff, faculty, alumni, and the community come together to celebrate tradition and school spirit over a week of activities including the parade and homecoming football game.
All are invited to Swarm Week events throughout the week. Coronation and Burning of the BH takes place Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. On Friday, the Alumni Awards Luncheon occurs at noon and the Hall of Fame Banquet is at 6 p.m. For Friday's ticketed events, please RSVP by Sept. 14 to Tom Wheaton at Tom.Wheaton@BHSU.edu or (605) 642-6385. The parade is Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. followed by a tailgate social at 11:15 a.m. before the football game against Colorado Mesa University at 1 p.m.
